I went to Dr Austin the 1st time for my junior high check up. He delivered both of my children. We all became long time patients. He was a very “cool” guy!

  2. Thanks for taking care of our family since the early 1960’s. Your were always so easy to talk to, took great care of us all, including my 5 sons. One of my sons was always able to get care if needed when he returned home for vacations. He even treated a granddaughter. We will miss him. My heart goes out to you Ann, you were always such a wonderful helpmate to Dr. Wayne.

  3. Our answering service worked with Dr. Austin and his staff for many memorable years. He always brought a smile to our face and was beloved by everyone. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. We hope you cherish lots of happy memories.

  4. When coming into the office sick Dr. Austin always had a friendly word, spoke of His salvation and heaven. Going out of the office we seemed to feel better. Dr. Austin will forever be in our hearts and thoughts. We give our condolences to Anne and family. One day we will all be together.

My family and I are saddened with the news of Wayne’s death. Our hearts go out, especially, to Ann and Wayne’s beautiful family. Wayne Austin was the epitome of what a family doctor should be, as well as being a devoted husband, proud father, great friend, and wonderful neighbor on Euclid. Wayne brought two of my four children into this world, during my early years in Bellingham and remained close to our family throughout the intervening years. He will be very much missed by all whose lives he so beautifully touched.
    Sincerely, Sherri Hines and Family
