Moles Farewell Tributes is honored to have The Meadow, the first natural burial ground in Western Washington to be certified by the Green Burial Council. The Meadow Natural Burial Ground at Moles Greenacres Memorial Park allows families the option to lay loved ones to rest in a serene and natural environment.

We are the only funeral home in Whatcom County that operates its own crematory. Our crematorium is exclusively for the use of Moles Farewell families, providing peace of mind that their loved one never leaves our care.

A witnessing is another way to say a final goodbye to a loved one before the cremation. Moles Farewell Tributes’ private Crematory Center provides an intimate Chapel-like environment for family and friends to gather and take part in the process of saying their goodbyes.

This water-based process is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional flame-based cremation. Aquamation is a gentle and respectful process that uses water instead of fire. The water-based process uses a solution of 95% water and 5% alkali (a combination of sodium and potassium hydroxide). At the end of the process, the chemical has been completely consumed, neutralized, and no longer remains in the water solution.
