I just found out about Sheldon’s passing. I was one of Sheldon’s vendors at Metrie and although I did not know him well, I really enjoyed my visits with him. As a vendor a lot of times people will rush you thru but, Sheldon never did. No matter how busy, he always found time to say hello and tell me a short story or antidote. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends he was such a warm hearted person.Cyndi Lamb

So very sad to learn of Sheldons passing. His Mom was my first grade teacher. Sheldon lived on Greens Lane across from the Kurz family, where I played often with Linda, Don and Sheldon. Linda passed away last week, such sadness and loss on Greens Lane. I graduated from the class of 1972, NVHS. So very sorry for your loss, prayers for the family

  4. Sheldon and I grew up together throughout elementary School, High School, and 3 years at WSU. We roomed together during those years. Sheldon was a guy you could always count on, and we had many-a-chat at night reflecting on our University dealings. We laughed and laughed at what life threw at us, never giving up as we were both so determined and knew we had each other to lean on.
Although we grew apart these past 20 years… I knew him well the first 20 years. Sheldon will be missed, by many.

  5. I’m very sorry for your extreme loss. Sheldon was a good man, and always kind to me growing up. You have my condolences, and will all be in my prayers.
