Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Parviz Sami, whose warm eyes and infectious smile greeted many visitors to downtown Bellingham eateries such as Cicchittis and Taco del Mar for nearly 30 years, passed away peacefully at St Josephs Hospital at the age of 72, surrounded by family. He was characterized by a loving disposition, quiet optimism, and generous spirit among all those who crossed his path.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the ICU and MCU who compassionately and graciously cared for Parviz in his last days of life; and the Bahai communities of Bellingham and Mt. Baker for their constant assistance and support.
Parviz Sami is survived by his wife of 46 years, three daughters, two sons-in-law and two grandsons.
Bahai funeral services will be held at the Moles Farewell Tributes-Bellingham, 2465 Lakeway Drive, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 6. All those who knew him are welcome to join us in celebrating his life.
