There just aren’t the words to say all we love and remember about Doug, Helen, and ALL of this family. As Doug once said to me, it just makes heaven all that more wonderful to look forward to. You just don’t know how much we love you, every one. Your wonderful memories will be your comfort until you are reunited one day soon. Love, Roy and Myrna

  2. Aunt Helen…oh, what a glorious day it must have been when you arrived in heaven. Uncle Doug would have been so happy to see you! Growing up around The Firs, you were always there, smiling, offering a helping hand. As I grew up and moved away, you always stayed in touch and when I was “home” in Bellingham you were always happy to see me. Your Christmas letters, always full of love for your family and Our Lord. Over the years I’ve grown to see you as someone very special, blessed by God. However, I think I’ll always remember you with my “child like” awe, having bible study or Sunday School in your living room. I know your family will be missing you but knowing that someday they too will see you again. Love to you Aunt Helen, may you now be a peace with our Precious Lord.
