Obituary
Bill Alexander
William Bill Newell Alexander passed away in Lynden, WA on June 2. He was 96. Bill graduated from Maple Falls High School, then attended Western Washington College. He married Guynetha in 1940 and remained married for over 72 years.
Bill had a number of interests including fishing, bowling and boating. He was a member of the Lions Club, Nooksack Methodist Church, Sandy Point Yacht Club, and Hopewell Grange.
Bill is survived by his wife, Guynetha Alexander, his four daughters; Judy (Bob) Kildall of Lynden, WA, Linda (Greg) Barlean of Everson, WA, Barbara (Gary) York of Custer, WA, and Nancy (Bob) Olson of Everson, WA, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, Reuban and Grace Alexander, and his sister Elizabeth Betty Evans.

A graveside service will be held at Greenacres Memorial Park on Wed, June 5 at 11:00 AM. Donations Information
Memorials may be made to the Christian Healthcare Center or Whatcom Hospice.

I am offering condolences from my mother, Jennie Koster, and myself. My mother has met the Alexander’s only recent as residences of Meadow Greens in Lynden. My personal thoughts and prayers go to Judy and Linda who I rode school bus with 12 years. John Koster

We will alwas treasure the good times we had with Bill and Guy on cruises with the Sandy Point Yacht club. I think if there is a bowling alley in heaven Bill is throwing strikes!!
