Obituary

Bellingham

William “Bill” A. Howard, age 69, passed of lung cancer at his home in Bellingham on April 24, 2014. Bill was a Cast House Worker at Intalco for over 30 years, and a sharpshooter-marksman for the U.S. Army. He enjoyed computers, motorcycles, and various outdoor activities. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn Howard of Bellingham, daughter Jenny Miller of Chilliwack, B.C., son Robert Howard of Bellingham, mother Gladys Howard of Bellingham, sister Shiella Jones of Bellingham, brother Donald Howard of Lynden, brother Wayne Howard of Bellingham, sister Sandra Celec of Ferndale, sister Patricia Strickler of Bellingham, 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, William E. Howard.

Farewell Tribute Information

There will be a visitation in the chapel at Greenacres Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Greenacres Memorial Park, followed by an indoor reception in the chapel. Donations Information

    Bill was my big brother and we shared much together but mostly I looked up to him as one would expect of a big brother. You will be missed. Go with God…

    Bill will be greatly missed. I remember whenever he pulled a fun prank on someone, he had this villainous laugh, He always had everyone laughing. Bill is sitting in Heavan now drinking his favorite Woods coffee. Marilyn, your love, strength and self sacrifice is an example of what we should all strive to be like. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow. Bob, Jenny and families, May God comfort you all.
