Obituary

Thomas Everett Clark Jr, age 89, passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Bellingham, Washington after a prolonged illness.
He was born in Exeter, Virginia on February 5, 1926 to Sarah Ellen and Thomas E. Clark Sr.
Thomas was a veteran of WWII. He was aboard Navy ships in Alaska and the Pacific. Thomas was a true patriot and loved his country and the Navy.
He was very interested in airplanes, Fords, engines, and he was a gun enthusiast.
Thomas loved his family and his children.
Thomas met his wife Carol Sue later in life and they spent the last 24 years together. Tom and Carol loved to garden together and have won awards from Whatcom In Bloom three years running for Best Backyard, Best Small Garden, and Best Entire Garden. They enjoyed frequenting their favorite local Burger joint, remodeling their home, and just being in each others company.
Thomas was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Carol Sue; four children; nine siblings and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

  1. Our Dear Brother Tom, Always so sweet with a ready giggle, smart and creative. And such fortitude, the 1st in our family to make age 89. I will miss him very much, but WILL have wonderful and warm memories always. He left some cool kids too. Sister Joyce
