Obituary

Susan Ann Harrington (Morabito) passed away at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Bellingham, WA on October 10th, 2015 after 71 years and one day of life.
Susan was loved dearly by a large family and a close group of friends who were the most important things in her life.
She was a Ferndale High School graduate, and she served as baker for the Ferndale School District for many years.
Along with baking, Susan loved art, crafts, and reading too.
She was married to Mike Harrington in 1967, who preceded her in death along with her parents Joseph and Mamie Morabito, and her nephews Billy and Josh Hatzell.
Susan’s sense of humor, her laughter, her compassion and her care for others defined what she was, so that anyone meeting Susan for the first time walked away with a friend for life.
She is survived by her son Jeff, daughter Michelle, sister Sondra, Sally Jo, and numerous grand and great-grand children, nieces, and nephews.
Susan will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and her community.
Memorials in Susan’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
A graveside service followed by a reception will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2015 at 2:30PM at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale.

My sincere condolences to Jeff, Michelle and family. Susan was a beautiful person who I will personally miss dearly. She has been a part of my life for over 37 years and was always one of the first people I would ensure to visit while home on leave over the last 27 years (sometimes before my own mother). Coming home will never be the same again.
    REST IN PEACE

To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a “resurrection” back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, “The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises. www.JW.org
