Obituary

Shirley J. Mason, age 91, passed away in Bellingham, WA on January 9, 2022. She was born in Libby, MT on October 15, 1930, to Earl and Waneta Switzer. Shortly after graduating high school in Libby, Shirley caught the eye of Edwin J. Mason, and soon after they were married. Together they raised two daughters, Marina and Martha.

Shirley loved to dance to the big bands, playing cards, and spending time with friends. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending time with family. Especially the babies! And, Shirley loved a good drink.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin in 2000. Shirley is survived by daughters Marina (Rick) Engels, Martha Mason, brother Bruce Switzer, grandsons Bobby and Corey McAllister, 7 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

We will miss you Shirley, but are happy that you are at peace, dancing in Heaven with Dad, the love of your life.
