Obituary

Ruby L. Boome passed away in Sedro Woolley on August 26, 2021, at the age of 78. Ruby was born on August 3, 1943, in Bellingham to Francis Sr. and Norma Jefferson. She was a very caring, loving, person who raised a lot of children. Ruby was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and great-grandmother who always had them over. Her hobbies included playing Bingo, knitting sweaters, and watching NCIS and Criminal Minds.

She is survived by her daughters, Pauline Damien, Irma Boome and Rita Revey; sons, Charles F. Boome and James L. Jefferson; grandchildren, Alva Damien and Tyleen Damien; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 25 nieces and nephews. Ruby is preceded in death by her brothers Jeff, Norman, Dana, and John Jefferson; sisters Patsy LaClair and Carol George; daughters Dana Damien and Loralei Boome.

A prayer service for family will be held  on Tuesday, August 31, at 6:00pm. A funeral service for family will be Wednesday, September 1, at 10:00am. Both services will be held at Moles Farewell Tributes Ferndale, 2039 Main St.
