Obituary
Rena (Edith) Lane Ballew—Ce Whel Ten Aut, age 82, of Bellingham, WA and the Lummi Nation, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015.
Rena is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Ballew Sr., daughter Charlene Ballew, grandson Levi Jefferson Jr., parents Alfred Lane, Sadie Celestine (Lane) Jones, Matthew Jones, and Brother Glen Lane.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Jefferson) Williams, Jacqueline Ballew, Aletha Ballew; sons, Levi Jefferson (Julie Jefferson), Wayne R Ballew Jr. (Marie Ballew), Cassimir Ballew, Matthew Ballew Sr. (Alva Victor); and 24 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Ernestine (Lane-Ballew) Gensaw, and Beverly (Solomon) Cagey.
Prayer Services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015, 6:00p, at Wexliem, and a Holy Mass: Wednesday, December 30, 2015, 10:30, also at Wexliem. Father Khanh Officiating.
