All right baby sister, what’s the big idea. I am the oldest, I was supposed to be the first to die. We have always known you had many of the traits of our mother. Now we realize it more than ever. Iris remembers what a sweet girl you were when she babysat you at age 3. You never grew out of that sweetness. Though the years separated us during our childhood, the miles have separated since, the communication was rare, and the visits even more rare, there is a special place in our hearts that now hurts. Your presence on this earth will be missed, even way down south in Texas. You have reminded us of our mortality, that life is a gift that can pass quickly, just as our mother did nearly 29 years ago.
‘whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.’ James 4:14 NKJV
Love forever,
Pat and Iris

It is a rare thing to meet someone with so much love in their heart and such a gentle nature…Becca was that person and everyone that met her felt it. The world needed more Becca’s not fewer and I am so sad she had to leave us so early. God must have needed her in heaven to have called her home so soon.
I was truly blessed to have had Becca in my life for the last several years and will miss her dearly.

Becca – Your leaving has left an empty space in all of our hearts. There was no time to make peace with your untimely passing. I can only say that you were a gift to all of us who were lucky enough to call you a friend.

As a volunteer at the Whatcom Humane Society, Becca worked with the adoptable dogs. She spent her time walking the dogs, training them, and loving them. She made a difference.Becca, you are so missed.
