Obituary
Ralph Lindquist Jr., our much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on May 15th at the age of 89.
Ralph was born in Bellingham, WA and grew up in the Silver Beach neighborhood.
He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Ethel Lindquist and brother Eugene.
Ralph is survived by his wife Joyce, son Jim, daughter Sheryl, grandchildren Jake (Holly), Michelle (Rob) and great grandchildren Lane and Mason. He is also survived by his brother Ted (Linda), and former daughter-in-law Karen (Rob).
Ralph proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in June 1954 from Fairchild Air Force Base.
He married Joyce Peterson in Spokane, WA in May 1956 and they lived in Bellingham raising their family.
Ralph was a retired Teamster who worked on hundreds of construction projects during his career throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Ralph was a true lover of the outdoors whether it be camping, fishing, hunting, hiking or jeeping.
He enjoyed traveling in his RV’s and vacationing over the years at his secondary residences he built near Malott in eastern WA, Coyle on the Hood Canal and finally in Yuma, AZ where he and Joyce were Snowbirds for over 20 years.
Ralph will be greatly missed and was loved dearly by his family and close friends.
At his request, no service will be held.
