Obituary

Patricia Beighley was born on July 3, 1960 in Honolulu, HI to Joe Bob and Glendine (Manka) Barley. She passed away on August 5th, 2016 in Seattle, WA.
Patty loved hiking, bowling, traveling, and her extensive collection of music. She loved all animals, especially her dog “Dobbie”. More than anything, however, Patty loved her granddaughters. They made many memories going out for lunch and shopping for antique maps together.
Patty used her love of helping others to help her find her career as a respiratory therapist. She worked for over 30 years at St. Luke’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bellingham, as well as Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV.
She was always willing to listen to anyone and everyone. She was helpful and caring to all she met.
Survivors include her mother, Glendine Barley, daughter, Stacey Beighley, granddaughters Jane Beighley-Baird and Jessica Fisher, and several aunts and uncles. She is predeceased by her father, Joe Bob Barley.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, August 18th at Grace Lutheran Church (702 G St., Blaine) followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
