Obituary

Maylene Violet Lane was a fun, spunky, kind, joyful and beautiful soul. Her favorite activities included walks on the waterfront, arts and crafts, decorating her clothes, visiting with family and friends, watching Tyler Perry movies and Let’s Make a Deal. Maylene will be remembered for her unique and fabulous sense of style, kindness toward those less fortunate, creative talent and her constant laughter. Most of all she will be remembered for her abiding love for her daughters. Maylene is survived by her daughters Sunsearae and Sharayah Lane; father Jack Lane; grandchildren LeAsia, Ian and Aria Lane; brothers Shawn, Abraham, Steven, Jerimiah, Albert and Dereck lane. She is preceded in death by her mother Bernadette; son Darrius and brother Jackie Darrell.

A funeral service wil be held Wednesday, September 26, at 10:00am at the Wexliem Community Building. Burial to follow in Lummi Nation Cemetery.
