  1. Marci was a gem; full of fun and always got the best out of people, even if they were grouchy. She was a doer and a problem solver. St. Joes lost a wonderful person.

  2. Sad to here about the loss of Marci, she was always a breath of happiness my prayers are with her family

  3. When I found out I have been diagnosed with cancer, I had an epiphany to focus more on the things that matters the most which is to give my time to people who needed my compassion and care while I can and for as long as I can. I have always wanted to volunteer at St. Joseph’s PeaceHealth hospital as I thought this is a great way to give back to our community and get to know some folks. I was scheduled to see Marci for an interview on the 7th until I got a call today only to find out that I will never going to have the opportunity to get to know Marci or work with her. When I spoke with her a couple weeks before she passed on, we talked for several minutes and was very excited to meet her and learn so much from her. She made me feel comfortable immediately as if we have known each other for ages. Marci shared she’s been working for PeaceHealth for over 30 years and she has many stories to share if I’d like to. Even though I will never have the opportunity to get to know Marci, she made an imprint in my life. That call gave me hope and the will to continue my journey. Thank you Marci for being one of my angels.

I am stunned. I struggle to imagine anyone more full of life than Marci. She blessed my years at PeaceHealth St. Joe’s, we shared much fun and many memories. I am lifting in prayer her loved ones and those who mourn. She was truly one of a kind, a remarkable, joyous, fun woman.

Marci was the best! Always upbeat, smiling, and dressed so well! She will be sorely missed.
