Obituary

Lester R. Spain

Lester R. Spain, age 73, passed away at home on March 1, 2013 after an extended illness. He was born on January 22, 1940.
Lester had a tender caring personality, especially shown to wife Beth, his best friend. His exuberance and active love of life were dampened by illness, but will live in the memory of those who knew him in his prime.
Lester is survived by the love of his life, LaBeth, wife of 35 years. He leaves sons Wade (Darlene) of Bellingham, WA, and James (Allegra) of Ferndale, WA. He was so proud of grandchildren Britagne, Trinity Anne, Roko, and Kristopher Paul. Lester is also survived by brother Bruce (Leslie) of Ferndale, WA, sister Sharon (Robert) Cole of Hamilton, MT, sister Linda (Mike) Briggs of Anderson, CA, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Lesters final resting place will be in Hamilton MT where his parents Lester C and Eda Spain are laid to rest.
Family was the most important thing in life to Lester. May he rest in peace.

  1. Les was a good friend to me when I first came to Libby in 1970. He and Ada were great people. My first hunting trip was with Les in his Jeep. My sympathy goes out for your/our loss.
