Obituary
Leland Thorton Johnson died January 6, 2018 after 81 well-lived years. Lee was born at home in a snow storm February 10, 1936 in Leon, Iowa to Maude A. Toney & Thorton S. Johnson. He was the 2nd child of four siblings. Predeceased by his brother Jerry Wayne Johnson and survived by an older sister, Rozella Frazzini & a younger brother and sister-in-law, Chuck & Sharon Johnson. He grew up in Albany, Oregon. Lee worked at the Hub City Plywood Mill for a short time. He lived in California and Alaska briefly before settling in Ferndale, WA. He worked at Intalco for 33 years. Leland was a son, a husband, a father, an uncle, and a grandpa. He fathered 2 children and had 6 step children. He had many grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and spending time with his grandkids. His favorite past time was fishing at Lake Padden. His family will miss him and think of him dearly.

Uncle Lee . . . I will never forget my first electric razor you bought for me. Thanks for teaching me how to drive a car, bait a fish hook, shoot a rifle and run a band saw. You had a very positive influence on my life.
