Obituary
Korry Abelson died unexpectedly in her home on November 11, 2017, in Bellingham, WA at the age of 63. Korry is survived by her husband of 41 years Mark Abelson and their three children, Jaysen (Annie) Abelson, Reese Abelson and Holli (Patrick) Treadway. Korry was born on January 29, 1954 in Calgary, Alberta to Vance and Trasey Hitchcock. She graduated from Hazen High School in Renton, WA in 1972. She was very well loved and will be deeply missed by all her friends, family and the students at Wade King Elementary where she worked for over ten years.

So sorry to hear of Korry’s passing. She was a blessing for my wife, who suffered from dementia. Korry made both our lives easier.

I just heard today of Korrey’s passing. She was my childhood friend who lived two houses away from us. We spent many hours together playing, riding bikes, sleepovers, berry picking and more. Even after they moved to Renton, our families stayed in touch. Some of my best childhood memories were with this family. My heart goes out to her dad and brothers and sister and her husband and children. ❤️
