Obituary
A loving & kind heart stilled Sunday July 30th, 2017. Kathleen Ann (Kathi) Rawls Lamont age 65 passed suddenly and peacefully at Saint Josephs Hospital.
Kathi was born July 23, 1952 to Albert and Dorothe (Chichester) Rawls. She graduated from Sehome High School and lived and worked in Whatcom County her whole life.
Kathi was pre deceased by her parents, her husband Gordon Lamont, her brother Dennis Rawls and special friend Dick DeAtley.
She is survived by her son Eric (Jessica) Hamerski, grandson Seth Hamerski and Eric’s father Richard. She also leaves two brothers Mike (Linda) Rawls, Ron (Cindy) Rawls, sister J. Hope Burse. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Kathi was an avid race fan and attended and followed all local drivers from both Deming and Skagit race tracks. She also loved music and for many years held season tickets to 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. She had several different jobs over the years starting at Rawls Superette, then cooking and/or bartending at the Moose lodge and the Waterfront Tavern.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 2pm, at 1123 Lingbloom Rd, Bellingham, WA. 98226.

It’s been a week without my sister. Missing her so. We spoke almost everyday. It is hard not being able to stay in touch. RIP my dear sis.
