Obituary

Josephine H. Johnsen passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2012 in Bellingham. Jo was born on April 27, 1915 in Scotland, SD to Henry and Albina (Sternhagen) Johnsen. Jo moved to Bellingham in 1960 and was employed at Smith Bakery and later as a caregiver. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her sister Velora Johnsen, brother Ed and wife Beverley Johnsen. Jo is survived by her niece Leslie (Dave) Burgess, nephew Cris (Erin) Johnsen and great niece and nephews Angela, Tristan, Taylor Burgess and Conner, Colton Johnsen.

Farewell Tribute Information

A Graveside service will be held December 5, 2012 at 11:00am at Greenacres Memorial Park, 5700 Northwest Dr. Ferndale WA. A mass will be said in Jos honor on Friday December 21st at The Church Of The Assumption in Bellingham.
