Josephine Ellen Bennett, age 69, of Bellingham, WA., and the Lummi Nation, passed away on July 30, 2016. A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 6pm, and a Funeral Service on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10am. Both services will be held at the Wexliem Community Building.

My heartfelt sympathy to Tom, Connie and Grandchildren and the “Phair Family” I was so heartbroken to hear of her passing, my thoughts and Prayers are with you, today and days to come, Josie was a amazing loving kind lady and I loved the little time we shared, with love and laughter and our hugs… she’ll be greatly missed, even thou I don’t see you folks, I always remember the love Our Mothers had for each other and I respect the love Our Families share to this day…

My heart goes out to my sister’s family! My sister Josie was the best best mom, wife, and Nana! She did everything for her family. She was the most loving caring sister. How will get along without her. She made beautiful necklaces and I was Her number one customer. I will always miss her.
