Obituary

JoAnne Sandberg passed away at home, on November 26th, 2016. She was born June 26th 1930, to Florence Blakslee (Ross) and Harold Truitt, both of course, deceased.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, MaryAnn Truitt, and Peggy Manthey. Also, her husband, William H Sandberg, son Randll Scott Sandberg, and daughter Kelli Ann Sandberg.

She is survived by eldest son, Mark Edward Sandberg, and daughter Kimberly Gai Sandberg, grandchildren, Coty Sandberg, Tyler Sandberg, Natalie Curtin, (Dan), Carly Sandberg, Haley Sandberg, and Albert Holloman.

Mom was a CRN; and all of us went to her for medical advice. She made sure all of us could swim, because she couldn’t. She wore so many hats, 4H leader, she was on Meridian School Board. She involved herself in everything we needed. Kids and grandkids, alike. She even took time to organize a luncheon for all her retired nurse friends. She started Pet Pleasers when pet sitting was unheard of. She was our rock, our matriarch.

We will be having an open house on January 7th from 2-5, come join the family for food and coffee at family home. Family and close friends, for private graveside memorial at Woodlawn on the 8th for informal service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite animal rescue, or Humane Society to the vet department.
