Obituary

Jennifer S. Joanen, aged 68, of La Conner, WA, gracefully departed this life on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Born on June 8, 1955, in Lakewood, CO, to the loving embrace of George and Dorothy Juras.

Jennifer had a lively spirit and loved life. She enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, experimenting with culinary creations. She was always trying out new recipes and collecting cookbooks and sharing them with her loved ones.

Jennifer loved to care for those she loved, and her home was a welcoming place where she enjoyed hosting gatherings and bringing people together. Her love and kindness were unmatched to those who knew her.

Aside from her love for cooking and entertaining, Jennifer had a deep affection for the beach. She found joy in simply walking along the shore and listening to the waves.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted partner, Grant Johnson, and her beloved children – Michelle, Lauren (Farbod), Mikey (Layce), and Courtney (Garrett). Additionally, her grandchildren – Jacob, Zachary, Cyrus, Madison, Caiden, Hailey, Kennedy, and Mason – will forever carry her love within their hearts.
