Obituary

James (Jim) George Wright, 85, died on March 31, 2023, in Bellingham, WA. Jim was born in Auburn, NY on July 31, 1937 to Donald and Mary Wright.

Jim served in the USAF for four years. Jim also lived in Southern California for 23 years, working for the City of Glendale, prior to moving to Bellingham, WA for the remaining 43 years of his life.

In Bellingham, Jim worked for Georgia-Pacific in security until retirement. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and traveling with family.

Jim is survived by his wife of 66 plus years, Lucy; his son Steven (Stephanie); and his grandsons Ethan and Garret.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Whatcom Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, WA on Friday May 5th at 2:00 pm.
