Obituary

James David Jefferson Jr., age 57, of Bellingham, passed away on November 26, 2019. He was born on July 26, 1962 in Bellingham, WA to James and Sally (Obi) Jefferson. James loved fishing, visiting family, gathering oysters and sharing with family. He especially loved fishing with his Uncle Gabe and helping him with anything he needed help with. James will be remembered for his laugh and his hugs He could never say no. James was a private man who had a kind and gentle soul. He always tried to act tough but was just a big teddy bear at heart. He received his GED from NWIC and was a fisherman. He was the caretaker of his father and his uncles. He is survived by his children James Jefferson IV; Marie Charles, Nathan and Michael Wright; grandchildren James, Sir, Tironne, Shayne, Greggory, Jasper Jr, Vincent, Erin, Brenden, Karys, Jacob, Kolton, Kenai, Zxathian, and Kyra ; siblings Edna, Pat, Ted Dennis, Evelyn, Teresa, Gay, Vicky, John, Jackie, Verona, and Sandra.

A prayer service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 6:00pm. Funeral services will b e Monday, December 2, 2019 at 10:00am. Both services will be held at the Wexliem Community Building.
