Obituary

Jacqueline “Jackie” Kay McAfee went to take her place in Heaven after a valiant fight against cancer. She passed away February 14, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born on August 4, 1948 to Norman and Julia Macmillan. She met the love of her life, LeVerne “Mac” McAfee when they were just teens. They married on May 1, 1966 and have been by each others side ever since.
Jackie worked with her sister at Dandee Diaper Service for many years. In 1997 she went to work at Costco until retiring in 2013. She took pride in being a great employee. Jackie enjoyed crocheting, bowling, board games, puzzles, cards, and meeting her friends at the Casino.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Julia Macmillan and her sister Nancy Smith.
She is survived by her husband Mac of Bellingham; children Rod McAfee and Brenda (Dave) Sims; sisters Judie (John) Oram and Mary (Chuck) Copps; grandchildren Nicole, Megan, Linsey and Derick; great grandchildren Izaiah, Anthony and Daniel; many nieces and nephews and loving friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00PM at Moles Farewell Tributes- Ferndale, 2039 Main St, Ferndale.

You have a Very Special Guardian Angel looking down on you 24/7. I have many memories with Jackie, when we bowled on the same league. Enjoyed seeing her a Costco & chatting a bit. Take Care I Care.   4. Uncle Mac, Rod and Brenda, I am so very sorry for your loss. Aunt Jackie was an amazing woman who touched many peoples lives. She will be greatly missed by many. I love you Aunt Jackie and will miss you so very much, Rest in Peace Auntie.
