Obituary

George Thomas Williams, age 58, of Bellingham, passed away on February 21, 2020. He was born on September 24, 1961 in Bellingham to Dean and Virginia Williams. George graduated from Bellingham High School and attended college for a while. He joined the Army in 1984. He worked at a cannery in Ferndale and the Lummi library for short period of time. George was always reading, he watched political programs and game shows. Jeopardy was his favorite game show. His favorite activities included going to the casino, spending a lot of time at the library using their computers, going on short trips in his car, eating at restaurants especially the Horseshoe Café. George was always helping friends out whether they needed a ride or a loan he was there to help. His family loved playing basketball with him and friends and listening to him play the piano and guitar.  He is survived by his brother Ron Williams and Gary Williams and sister Carol Lane. George is preceded in death by his parents; sister Alice A. Greene; and brothers Dean L. Williams and Virgil L. Williams.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 10:00am at Moles Farewell Tributes, 2039 Main Street, Ferndale. Burial will follow in Lummi Nation Cemetery.
