  1. Gale was a Bible study group I attended, and inspired me so much. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

  2. Travis Horn says:

It was once said, “You meet people who forget you. You forget people you meet. But sometimes you meet those people you can’t forget. Those are your friends.”
Gale is one of those people. No matter who you were, Gale wanted to get to know you and know your story. To find someone like Gale in today’s world is like locating that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

In any marriage, you gain people as part of the blending of two families. In my case, I gained not only an amazing brother-in-law in Brennan, but I also gained two new lifelong friends in Gale & Craig. Our time together had been brief, to say the least. But those times we did spend together, were life-changing and soul-impacting experiences. From sharing our wedding day with Gale to spending a week hollering “Yoo-Hoo. Party of 12” in line at Disney World, every moment shared with Gale was incredible.

Gale’s soul was pure, Gale’s faith was deep, and Gale’s love abounded. Her life on this earth has ended, however, Gale’s spirit will reside in the hearts of the lucky few who were able to call her “friend”. Sorrow and grief are abundant at this moment. But take solace in the knowledge this moment will not last. This moment will inevitably pass. Allow Gale’s memory to penetrate the sadness and replace some of the grief with glee. Most of all “Give all of your worries to him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
