Obituary

Elizabeth Paez, 67, passed away September 1, 2015 in Bellingham, Washington. She was born May 6, 1948 in Corona, California to Peter and Rose (Roberts) Villa.

Everyone who knew Liz felt her friendly spirit. She was such a bright soul, and she was very funny. Her laugh was contagious.

Liz loved to be busy and was always on the go.
She spent a lot of time with her family. They vacationed together in Vegas, went to Pow Wows, sporting events, canoe races and had many BBQ’s.
Liz also enjoyed beading, sewing and watching movies.

Liz worked in the Child Support Department as a Case Manager and she also worked in Education.

Liz is survived by Denise (Gabe) Jefferson, Fran (Chuck) Hathaway, Rose Paez, Jesse (Lindsay), Qwinsee~Lah (Raven) Paez, 9 grandchildren, 2 (with another one on the way) great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. Liz was loved by everyone. She had many other family members that adopted her as Mom, Grandma and Aunty.
She was preceded in death by her mother Rose Villa, her father Pete Villa, brother Richard Villa, Aunt June Vasquez, and Uncle Tony Villa.

  1. We send our deepest condolences to Liz’ family and friends, she was a much loved lady. I was lucky enough to meet her for the first and only time when the Atlanta Dream and Shoni Shimmel played Seattle last year. I was so glad to meet Q and baby Eliza’s beloved grandma, great grandma. May peace be with you Liz and comfort to family and friends at this sad time.
