  1. I had the pleasure and honor of being a part of Dorothy’s life by helping provide care for her in her home. Dorothy and I had so much fun together and I really enjoyed her company. Dorothy loved to share about her family–her love and pride in all of them shone through. She was so proud of all her children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments–from educational success, new jobs, marriages, buying homes, growing families–she was so proud. We spent many hours reliving her travels and talking about life. When we were finished she’d sometimes joke, “Well, now we’ve solved all the world’s problems…” I know Dorothy will be missed, but we all have faith that she now rests in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
    In His Peace, Michelle

  2. I would like to express my sympathy to Dorothy’s family and friends. She was loved by all who had the privilege and honor of knowing her. I hope you can draw a measure of comfort by the promise given in Revelation 21:4 where it says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. The Bible’s promises are guaranteed, unlike the promises of the world we live in. I hope these thoughts help you in the days ahead. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I got to know Dorothy while she lived in Massachusetts for a few years. She was truly a Lady and was a joy to be with. Her knowledge of the Travel Industry and destinations was remarkable. I know how much her family meant to her. She was one of those people who enter your life even for a short period of time she made an impact. My condolences to you all. Memories make sad days better…

  4. Even though we’ve only known Dorothy a small part of her journey, we always enjoyed her wonderful smile and participation in our church family in Bellingham. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family as they remember many special times together. You have been such a model of love, watching you care for her.
