Doris passed away peacefully in her Bellingham home, sleeping in the sun room she loved. She kept her sunny outlook and cheerful disposition right to the end.

Doris loved teaching. After retiring as an elementary school teacher in Lynnwood, she moved back to Bellingham, started folk dancing with the Fourth Corner Folk dancers and was soon teaching again, coaching new dancers. She always said she danced before she walked: her dad held her while she stood on his toes as he danced.Dancing was her favorite activity for the rest of her life. She danced with her friends on her 90th birthday.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Clyde Cave, her siblings, Pauline and Clyde Cave, Her first husband Edward Mills, their son Michael Mills, second husband Wilbur Bundy, their son Gordon Bundy, and third husband Rudy Sepich.

Doris is survived by her son Victor Bundy, and her grandchildren Heather D’Augustine and Edward Mills.

To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a “resurrection” back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, “The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises.
