  1. Everyone who became acquainted with Diana while she lived in our community had fond memories of their relationships with her.
Diana had a photography studio in her home. Her favorite subjects were young children. There was a family owned farm equipment business a block from her home and she soon became acquainted with the matriarch, Faith Greenway, and her son Tom. Faith lost her husband years ago so she and Tom were the only employes. Diana used some farm equipment as props for her photos.

Faith liked Diana and invited her to her annual farm appreciation ham and bean dinner. Diana asked Sherry (my wife) and myself to accompany her so she wouldn’t be the only non farmer there. The ladies enjoyed the meal, and I’m sure the farmers enjoyed that they were there.

I then published the local newspaper and called on the Greenways. About a week later Faith told me in the 40 years she had been conducting the dinner that was the first time she got a thank you note. It was from Diana.

  2. The death of Diana occurred on April 10 but the obituary didn’t arrive in our local newspaper until the issue today (dated April 23). I wish we would have known sooner.
Since she moved to Washington we have been unable to communicate. If she has been seriously ill, our family was not made aware.

Your family members will miss her a great deal. Sherry (my wife) and I were proud to be her friends.
