Obituary

Delano John Arthur, age 89, passed away in his home in Blaine, WA on December 26th, 2022.  He was born July 15th, 1933 to parents Caroline Bell and Delbert Arthur. Delano is survived by his wife Kathleen, and children David, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Melissa, and Anna.

Delano is preceded in death by his mother Caroline Bell Arthur, father Delbert Arthur, sister Carmen Arthur Delcig, and his infant daughters Teresa and Mary Catherine Arthur.

Del was a newspaper journalist, nationally recognized for his photography. He was also a commercial pilot and loved to fly and talk about flying to anyone he could. He was outgoing, friendly, and kind.

Del had a deep devotion to the Catholic faith and was very supportive and loving toward his friends and family. His favorite pastimes included spending time with his son and family, and playing with his dog Jake.
