Obituary

Chalkie LeoJoe Kwa’wach Williams passed away in Bellingham WA on May 27th, 2023. He was born a little over a month before to parents Mildred Ballew and Wally Williams.

From the moment he was born with eyes wide open, he was so aware and fascinated by the world. Chalkie was always watching his siblings and trying to hold his head up as soon as he was able.

He will be dearly missed by his parents Mildred and Wally, and his five siblings John, Kymani, Keselena, Charlee, and Walter. He also leaves behind godparents Kayleen and Anthony Jefferies, godfathers Raymond Jefferson and Darryl James, Great grandma Sharon Humphreys and grandparents Ann Fisher, Carol Pickett, Paul Ballews sr, and Ernes Penn.

Chalkie loved learning with his father, and being held and read to by his siblings. He will be remembered for his little elk cry, and for the love he brought to his family.
