  1. I am so sad to hear of Bob’s passing. As an employee of the Bellingham Tennis Club, I had the priviledge of getting to know Bob and his tennis partner Mark.

Every Saturday morning they came to the Club to take a lesson, watch some tennis matches on the TV, and share cup of coffee or cocoa with one another.
    A model of true friendship!

As a staff member, working Saturdays was special because of their friendly hellos and interactions with everyone they met.

My heartfelt sympathy to all of Bob’s friends and family.

  2. Dear Workman Family,I am writing to say how very sorry I am for your loss. My mother was Nora Workman-McKay, eldest daughter of Ezra Workman. I heard many wonderful and humerous stories about your mom & dad. I am the youngest, and last of the Ted McKay Family. I lost my sister, Lucretia, in 2008, of ovarian cancer, and Gary in 2010 of prostate cancer. I have, at times, been in touch with Gwen, but did not realize that any of the Workman family resided in Bellingham. Again, I would like to send condolences to all of your family and will keep you in my prayers. If you wish to talk with me at all, I can be reached at – (360) 647-2006. I am very involved in Geneology, and have come across the Workman family many times, and have a lot of unanswered questions, however, this is not the time to get into that.
    May God Bless You All,
    Marie McKay-Pavlik

  3. Dear Workman Family,
My brother Mark Postma was Bobby’s friend and roommate for many years. Bobby was such a big part of our family…coming to all of our family functions. He was so sweet, kind and happy!! He always had a smile on his face and kind words to say. We all loved him very much and will miss him deeply. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

    Love,

    To Bobby’s Family,
My daughter, Kathy Knutson, was Bobby’s girlfriend for quite awhile. He came to our house on several occasions and also Christmas parties for a couple of years. Our whole family was so happy to get to know him. He was always cheerful, friendly, very polite, and a joy to be around. He was always nice to Kathy.

Kathy passed away in 2010 and we all miss her, as I know your family will miss Bobby. His life touched many people and the world is a much better place because of him.

  5. To know Bobby was a privilege in many people’s lives including mine. I have had the pleasure of knowing Bobby for the past 19 years through my work at Cascade Connections. Bobby had a spirit about him that could change your mood with just a smile and hello. His was a hard worker and a great friend. Blessing to the family and loved ones during this time. Bobby will be missed.
    Sincerely,
    Kristin Nguyen
