Obituary
Beverly Fern (Jackson) Behme passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 6, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born December 18, 1925 to Lowell Burton and Leata Fern Jackson. Beverly was a longtime resident of Custer, Washington. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Hugh “Bud” Behme and daughter Lea (Behme) Myers. She is survived by her son Hal (Terry) Behme; daughters Jon (Pili) Kisena and Amy (David) George; alone with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Beverly’s request there will be no funeral services. The family would like to thank all the staff, nurses and caregivers at Lynden Manor for all the years of wonderful care they gave our mom.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed your parents and you children as we all grew up in Custer, which I’m sure you feel the same as we do that it was such a great place to live. Your parents were so nice and my sister and I were able to go visit your mother at Lynden Manor, one sweet lady..

Der Hal, Jon and Amy ,
We have so many wonderful memories of Bev. She was such a good cook and canned so many quarts of produce for her large family. She would often say after she was in the Lynden Manor that she missed being able to can.
You were very good to your Mom and we are sorry for your loss.
