  1. Laura, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Eric’s tragic passing. He was a special buddy during his years as the PD’s office and I remember him fondly. He was a wonderful and dedicated attorney. Prayers to you and your family. Sad.

My peace and prayers are with all. I’ll be bringing the Titan pride with me on Sunday

Eric was a year or two ahead of at SLU and while I cannot say I knew him well, I do remember him fondly. I knew him as “Weight” or “The Weight” or “Weight Man”. He is forever fixed in my mind’s eye as a lean kid with a neat mop of blond hair and a red checkered hunters’ wool coat. I remember seeing him often at ATO, and he was always witty (but never sardonic — well remembered by one junior to him) and good-natured. Like many of the brothers of his cohort, I looked up to him and I’m saddened to know now that we’ve lost him so young. My prayers are with his family and especially his children who should know that their Dad—in addition to being a great dad—was once a great kid!

I returned home from overseas to hear this very sad news about Eric. I would often see him at yoga and say hello. I loved the way he dressed. He always made me smile. He was kind and funny. My prayers of peace and grace are with all of you that are truly suffering. He will surely be missed and the world is truly different without him.

  5. Kristine Lee says:

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Eric was so proud of his kids, had a witty sense of humor and a wonderful advocate for his clients. We will miss him. I’m thankful I was able to get to know him and work with him. Sincerely,
    Kris, Brian and Denon Lee
