Dr. Elliott G. Boisen
Died August 6, 2012 in Bellingham, WA
Elliott was born March 14, 1925 in Minden, NE. A graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical School (1958), he practiced medicine in Lynnwood until 1975. He was very active in the Lynnwood Rotary and helped organize the Washington International Air Show at Paine Field. He then joined the US Air Force as a Flight Surgeon, attaining the rank of Colonel before his discharge in 1985. He served as Chief of Staff for the Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic in Anchorage, AK until his retirement in 1995. After retiring, he lived in Seattle and served as an inaugural usher at Benaroya Hall until 2010.
Elliott is survived by son Myles Boisen, son Sean Boisen and family, stepdaughter Arden Byers and family, and stepson Kevin Burgess and family. These families include nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
