My deepest sympathy to Jim’s family and friends. The emptiness you feel after such a loss can be overwhelming. I would like to share something that will hopefully give you some comfort and hope. John 5:28,29 gives the promise of a resurrection when it says “the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”, so there’s an opportunity to see that dear loved one again. Also revelation 21:4 says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” So not only will there be an opportunity to see Jim again but it will be without the fear of death, pain or sorrow. I hope this brings you a measure of comfort, I am truly sorry for your loss.

The Langerak family is so sorry to hear of your loss. We have many fond memories of our time with your family at Faith Lutheran. Your parents were such kind and caring people. We are fortunate to have known them.
