Obituary

Calmera Leosis, 94, of Bellingham, WA, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016.

Calmera was born in Perry, Iowa, on June 4, 1921 to Harry and Ilga Leosis. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and spent her career as a Los Angeles County Supervising Social Worker. She enjoyed playing tennis and was also a member of the USO during WWII to entertain the troops overseas. Calmera also once went on a mission trip to China for Christ.

Calmera is survived by her daughter Katherine Yurika of Bellingham, WA.

A graveside service is to be held on Tuesday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at Bayview Cemetery, Bellingham, WA.
