Sunrise: October 13, 1962 Sunset: June 3, 2026 Paul Matthew Jeffries, 63, was born in Seattle, Washington, on October 13, 1962, to Harold and Cora (Sally) Jeffries during the Columbia Storm. He passed away peacefully at the Peace Health Hospice House. He lived a life defined by hard work, adventure, devotion to family, and an appreciation for life’s simple joys. Paul met the love of his life through his childhood best friend, and together they shared 45 wonderful years, celebrating that milestone this past January. He was known for his quick wit, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty. While kind and easygoing, he was fiercely protective of his wife and children and took great pride in caring for those he loved. He loved being on the water and preferred fishing and crabbing the old-fashioned way—by hand. Some of his happiest moments were spent walking along the shoreline or taking his family to nearby harbors, lakes, and bays. He found peace in those places and joy in sharing them with the people closest to him. Paul built a career through determination and hard work, steadily advancing through industrial trades and earning the respect of those around him. He approached every job with dedication and a strong work ethic that served as an example to his family. As a father of three active children, Paul spent countless hours behind the wheel (and plenty as a passenger while his wife drove), taking them wherever they needed to be. Whether he was proudly watching them dance at powwows, cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, or simply showing up whenever they needed him, he was always there. Family was at the center of his life. Despite a busy schedule, Paul always made time for adventure. Lake Chelan and Point Roberts held a special place in his heart, and he treasured every opportunity to vacation, barbecue, and create lasting memories with family and friends. The moments spent gathered around food, laughter, and conversation were among those he cherished most. In his final days, Paul was surrounded by the love he had spent a lifetime building. He was at home with his wife and later gathered with family at his daughter’s home, sitting around the fire pit, enjoying crab, oysters, and clams while sharing stories and laughter. It was a fitting reflection of the life he lived—simple, meaningful, and filled with the people he loved most. Paul will be remembered for his strength, his humor, his steadfast love for his family, and the countless memories he created along the way. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the dances he danced, and in the family he was so proud to call his own. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Cora (Sally) Jeffries; sister, Muriel Mitchell; grandparents, Delphine and Tommy Tom; Aunt and Uncle, Delores and Earl Stich. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jeffries; his children, Julia (and Clinton) Solomon, Matthew (and Chastity) Jeffries, Anthony (and Kayleen) Jeffries, and Robert Teton (Shaeanna Puyette); his grandchildren, Alyssa Solomon, Junior Solomon, Jasmine Solomon, Chad Jeffries, Anthony Jeffries Jr, Tristan Jeffries, Carly Jeffries, Francesca Bob, Raiden Puyette, Ludvee Puyette, Kailani Teton, Koda Teton and Rena Teton; and his siblings and family.
