Holli was born in Bellingham, Washington, to Mark (Tony) and Christine (Tina) Julius. She was a lifelong resident of the Lummi Reservation. Holli will always be remembered for her caring spirit and her love for her family. She was the most beautiful and biggest baby ever…until Taylor…and then Samson. She had a great outlook and was always smiling growing up, which annoyed her sister. Her dad’s ‘Punkin’, Holli was always dependable and always there if she was needed. When her best friend called at 7 am Holli was there in no time, not even realizing that she put on two different shoes in her rush out the door. To be fair, she had more than one pair of her favorite ones but different laces. That’s just what kind of friend she was. She was always the calm one, reminding you to breathe. Even at inappropriate times she would always find something to laugh about with her brothers and sisters. She also wanted and/or had the scoop. ‘Oh Gads!’ Or ‘Holy!’ Or ‘Goll!’ was her response to almost any story. She loved her Seahawks and Marvel movies. Four or five times a year she used to go to concerts, but loved Al Green. Holli chaired AA meetings in the past. She had a beautiful smile and kind heart. She worked for many years at the Northwest Indian College, and had graduated from there with her Associates degree. Holli was quick witted and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved her kids and her nieces and nephews with all her heart, Kaity and the Dude were always on her mind. She’d say things like—‘I love your face’, ‘hurry up!’, and call you a ‘jerk’. She always made sure to tell you she loved you. Her silly sense of humor and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. Although she was sometimes quiet she was always sharing stories and laughing over the past. Holli volunteered at Commods and had genuine concern for her community. She knew about cars and could figure out what was wrong. She loved the beach and bringing her kids to the Great Wolf Lodge. Holli was preceded in death by her mate, Alvin Casimir III, her brother Christopher Lane, her maternal grandparents, Vernon and Nancy (Solomon) Lane, and paternal grandparents, Haynes and Vela (Jefferson) Julius, and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her parents, Tony and Tina Julius, sisters, Toni (Mann Lewis), Shelli (Chris Cline), brothers Taylor (Farrah George), and Samson Julius, her mate, Daniel Mack, her daughter, Kaitlin Casimir, and son, Alvin Casimir IV. Her final resting place will be at the Lummi Cemetery following a Catholic Mass.

A prayer service will be held Tuesday, September 24, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 25, at 10:30am. Both services are at the Wexliem Community Building.
