Obituary

Felix J. Cwynar, age 94 of Blaine WA, died Thursday, May 5, 2022.  Felix was born on May 21, 1927 to Felix and Antoinette (Janus) in Scranton, PA.  He spent his career with the U.S. Border Patrol, having retired in 1980 as Chief Patrol Agent in Blaine, WA.  Felix enjoyed many outdoor activities; including hunting, fishing, and could often be found on a boat in Birch Bay tending to his crab traps. Felix was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Border Patrol Officers, and a supporting member of the U.S. Border Patrol Museum.

Felix is preceded in death by his wife Marian (Matan) and sons Gerard and Richard, and is survived by his son Felix (Robin) of Buckeye AZ and wife Karen (Bateman) of Blaine WA.  Felix has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the U.S. Border Patrol Museum, 4315 Woodrow Bean Trans Mt Rd, El Paso, Texas 79924.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Moles Funeral Home, 2039 Main St. Ferndale, WA 98248.

He will be interred at Greenacres Memorial Park, Ferndale, WA.
