Obituary

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Eva Jeanne (Provost) Gates went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 23, 2013.

Jeanne was born in Bellingham, WA on March 24, 1928, and spent her childhood there. She met her husband to be, Don Gates at Mt. Baker High School, and they were married on September 4, 1948. The couple raised their family, Tom, Dan, and Jim, in Bellingham and Whatcom County. Jeanne worked at Somerset Nursing Home and Parkway Chateau as she loved helping the elderly. She also loved gardening and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up.

Farewell Tribute Information

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, at 12:30 PM, at Moles Farewell Tributes-Greenacres, 5700 Northwest Drive in Ferndale, with a graveside service at 1:30 at Greenacres Memorial Park. Donations Information

Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice or Sacred Hearth Catholic Church.
