Eric Jon Robinson Sr.

Eric Jon Robinson sr. was born to John Arthur and Alfreda Vera Celestine Robinson on April 11, 1962, in Stockton, California, and passed away on August 4, 2020 in Bellingham, Washington. Eric grew up in Stockton with his parents and siblings Tommy and Geri. Eric attended high school in Stockton and later attended Northwest Indian College. He had a love for sports and later loved watching his son play. He was employed in a number of positions including Alcoa and Clipping fish for the last 7 years. He made friends everywhere he traveled and worked and loved hanging out with the guys. Although Eric moved from California to Lummi to Bellingham, he made lifetime friends along the way including a close friend and bro Chris Edwards who he traveled to work and spent much time with. Eric loved each of his children and over the years through much growth of himself and his children built strong loving relationships with each. Eric was separated by distance with his oldest Erica but talked and texted daily with a good morning I love you and a good night I love you. He loved and cherished each of his grandkids and was always doing all he could to help bring a smile to the faces and hearts of his children and grandchildren. Eric always had a smile to share and always left you with a hug and “Love you cuz”. He will be forever remembered for his love for his family and people. He is survived by his children Erica (John) Rether, Eric Robinson Jr. and Sara Robinson; siblings Helen Burrows, Thomas Blas Sr. and Geraldine Blas; grandchildren Catelyn, Clayton Jr. “CJ”, Caylani, Caiden, John Jr., Elijah, Jasmine, Josiah, Lilah Robinson, Lolah Robinson, Jo-Anthony Robinson-Guebara, Lily-Anan Robinson, Owen Robinson and Jayden Robinson; aunt Wilma Olsen and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents John Arthur and Alfreda Robinson; grandparents Clifford and Jessie (Adams) Celestine; great-grandparents Thomas Adams and Ellen (Giddings) Adams Solomon and Frances and Aurelia (Balch) Celestine; aunt Norma (Celestine) Solomon and aunt Darlene Celestine. A family visitation will be Tuesday, August 11th, at 10:00am at Moles Farewell Tributes Ferndale followed by a family funeral service.
