Obituary
Billie Jean Solomon “Suhash” was born to Karen (Charles) and Williams Solomon on May 23, 1977 in Bellingham, Washington and she passed away at her home on September 19, 2023. She was a Lummi Tribal member. Billie was a table games dealer at the Silver Reef Casino for over 12 years. During her time there she made lifetime friendships with many of her colleagues.
Billie enjoyed hanging out with her numerous friends. She loved to sing, listen to music, play darts, and play pool. She liked to go on spontaneous road trips and go camping. She always knew the music and loved to sing and dance to all the lyrics. She will be remembered for being a people person. Billie was a part of dance group called the Culture Hype Crew. She loved to go downtown and dance her life away and enjoy life in the moment.
Anyone who knew Billie would describe her as an outgoing, beautiful human being, she was a social butterfly with her big, beautiful smile. She was very clean, and OCD, she loved to be organized to the point when everything had to be matching. She will be remembered most by her contagious laugh, she always had hugs and love for everyone. She will remembered for always telling stories, reading books, and how she would talk for hours.
She showed her love by spending time with her sisters and family, when they would hang out and go downtown together. Or by just sitting up at her house and enjoying the company of one another. Billie had so much love for her nieces, her nephew, and her grandnieces. Especially for her fur babies, her cats Phoebe, Phoenix, Kitty, and all her chihuahuas, Bella, Coco, Taco, and Nacho. She even had names for her hummingbirds.
Billie is survived by her mother, Karen Lynn (Charles) Solomon; sister Prudence (Roque Jr) Tapuro, numerous nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunties, uncles, many cousins, and many loved ones.
