Obituary
Bill Moeller was born in Browns Valley, Minnesota on January 1, 1941. He married Kathy Sullivan on May 11, 1963 in Graceville, Minnesota. They moved to Bellingham in 1963, raising their family in the home they moved into and where he lived until his passing on April 25, 2023. Bill adored his four children, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Bill worked as a machinist for Georgia Pacific for about 40 years. He was a strong union man and was involved in the development of Industrial Credit Union; always looking out for his fellow employees and their families.
Bill loved riding motorcycles and was heard on many a spring and summer evening announcing for races at Hannegan and Deming Speedways. He also had the opportunity to announce at Skagit Speedway and was a fan of all things racing. In retirement Bill enjoyed working with The Whatcom Council on Aging.
Family was always first for Bill, rarely missing a game or activity for his kids and grandkids. He was known for his outgoing personality and if asked how he was he would respond with a resounding “Outstanding!” There is no better word to describe the man who was a loving husband, father, papa, grandpa, and friend to all.
A memorial service will be held at Mole’s Bayview Chapel on Lakeway Dr. at 12:30 on Tuesday, May 2nd.

I worked with Bill at G.P.We had many dicussions….
(mainly sports} ….We didn’t also agree but there
was a lot of mutual respect….He was always a fun
guy to be around…..Kathy and family,so sorry for
your loss…He will be missed….
