Obituary

Bellingham, WA

Aletha “Lee” Grave, age 87, is now resting in peace with her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was born in Bellingham on July 12, 1926 to Tunis and Nell Komen. Lee was a lifelong resident of Whatcom county and graduated from Mt. Baker High School. She married Frank “George” Graves on June 2, 1945 and they were married for 56 years. Lee was a self-employed hairdresser for 43 years and enjoyed socializing with her customers. She was a member of Immanuel Bible Church in Bellingham and was a part of many Bible Study groups over the years. She had a feisty personality and always spoke her mind.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband George, brothers Robert Hinton and Percy Komen. She is survived by son Doug (Marlene), sister Jackie Seidel, brother Ray Komen, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial

Service will be held on Monday December. 16, 1:00pm at Immanuel Bible Church, 2000 W. North Street. Donations Information
